Bananas Foster

First enjoyed at Palm Shores October 2014 - A dinner party with 
Jackie, Dabs, Ewan and Jane .

2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup dark-brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinammon
1/4 cup dark rum
3 bananas, peeled, halved crosswise and then lengthwise
Vanilla ice cream (or coconut or rum raisin)

Melt butter in large skillet. Add brown sugar and cinnamon and bring to a boil.  Add bananas and saute for 2-3 minutes spooning mixture over.  Remove bananas to serving platter.  Add rum and ignite cooking down for 3 minutes til thick.  Spoon syrup over bananas and serve with ice cream.
